The domed design rises above the surface of the ground to block leaves, mulch and other debris near the base of the drain grate, while letting stormwater drain from the above. The 4 in. atrium dome drain grate has an open surface area of 17 sq. in. and a flow rate of 52 GPM. Built to stand up to the elements, the atrium drain grate is made of polyethylene, a type of plastic, using a combination of virgin and recycled content treated with UV inhibitors to prevent fading and cracking from the sun.
